BUENOS AYRES.—My work has been mostly in Buenos Ayres, but I have also visited other places, especially Taubil, where there are a number of Scandinavians. While at this place the latter part of May, I met a brother who is faithful to the cause, and is doing all he can to interest his neighbors. He gave me over two hundred dollars in tithe. I sold some books, especially “Christ’s Object Lessons,” and took a number of new subscriptions for the Evangeliets Sendebud, distributed tracts, and held Bible readings with those who were interested. In a short time I hope to visit them again, to continue the work.
Here in Buenos Ayres the interest is increasing, and the work is onward. A few have recently begun to observe the Sabbath; others confess that we are right, but they lack faith in God to obey. One sister who has lately accepted the truth has asked for baptism. She is from Australia, and speaks German, French, Italian, and Spanish. When Jesus comes, there will be a few saved from every nation. I am glad to have a part in carrying this message to them now.
