Virginia Camp Meeting and Lynchburg Tent Effort

Virginia

LYNCHBURG.—The interest here still continues. Our camp meeting just closed was the first ever held in this State. The congregations were good all the time. Twenty-two were baptized at the meetings on Sabbath and Sunday. Most of these accepted the truth during the tent effort held by Brother Purdham and myself previously to the meeting. Others will be baptized later. We shall pitch our tent at once in the city, and continue meetings. We are of good courage. T. H. PAINTER.
