SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF SCIENCE.
The following letter was written by one of the ablest business men in central Illinois, a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church:— “It is with satisfaction and a sense of genuine help that I finish a close reading of ‘Scriptural Foundations of Science,’ by Dr. L. A. Reed. “There are so many books trying to build all things on a purely scientific line,— so many attempting to construct the religious thought and life with little or no scientific sympathy for the universe of nature,— that I have profound gratitude to find a volume which gives such prominence to religion and science as one and inseparable in a perpetual union. “To read such a book is wholesome to every side of one’s better life. There is not a dull page in the book, and I lay the volume aside at its end with a genuine desire for more, believing this is not the last we shall have from Dr. Reed on the Scriptural Foundations of Science.
