Your Children's

First impressions are those that will last the longest, and will exert the greatest influence in their lives. A serious consideration of this fact has impelled the movement toward more pure and correct teaching for Seventh-day Adventist children. And this does not apply alone to schoolbooks. Associated with a forward movement in educational work is the step taken to provide for our children a story of the Bible that shall not only be free from error, but shall bring naturally before their minds the great truths that distinguish God's remnant people. “Easy Steps in the Bible Story” was the name chosen for the series, the first book of which has already been published. This leads the child along the Bible narrative from “the beginning,” to the time when the law was spoken on Sinai. In clear, simple language, that the children can understand, the early incidents and events of Bible history are related, and the lessons of the Creation, the Flood, the Call of Abraham, the Life of Joseph, and the Deliverance of Israel are pressed home. It is safe to say that the little child into whose hands this book is placed will have nothing to unlearn.
