Tabernacle Sabbath Services on Schools and Charity

Two Sabbath services in the Tabernacle, July 20 and 27, have been occasions of great interest. Brother J. G. Lamson, on the first date, spoke on the subject of schools, showing the necessity of denominational or church schools, on account of the errors that are permeating the secular teachings of the present day. Last Sabbath Elder S. H. Lane spoke of the message of Luke 14:13, 14. The importance of that work was set forth, and the services rendered in this direction by the Y. M. C. A., the W. C. T. U., and the Salvation Army were duly acknowledged.
