Letter from Maine Endorsing the Present Truth
BRO. W. B. PATTERSON writes from Maine: I heartily indorse the present truth, as advocated by the REVIEW and other works from the same Office, and I believe that I do most heartily sympathize with all God's faithful and tried soldiers, west or east, who willingly leave all ease and comfort behind to go forth to sound the last notes of warning to an ungodly world. I thank God with all my heart that Bro. Cornell and White were directed to Richmond last summer, and that I had the privilege with others of hearing and embracing these precious truths; and I intend, by God's grace assisting me, to live them out, as well as talk them out. I feel very much gratified in respect to the present appearance of the REVIEW, as well as for its high-toned and elevating teachings, and shall try to call the attention of others to it also, as I may have opportunity.
