Church in Genoa Quarterly Meeting Report

By A. Carpenter

Genoa.

The church in Genoa met in quarterly meeting the first Sabbath in May. Bro. Byington was present with us. After giving a good discourse, warning us not to be engaged in the affairs of life so that we should not discern the signs of the times, the ordinances were celebrated. All present seemed to manifest a strong determination to go forward in the message. First-day morning, he met with the friends at the usual place of worship, and addressed a good congregation on the importance of obeying the truth presented here by Bro. Littlejohn. Nearly all seemed to be convinced of their duty.
