Quarterly Meeting at Allegan.
By Joseph Bates
THE quarterly meeting for Allegan Co., held in Allegan, Sabbath and first-day, June 3 and 4, was interesting and encouraging. The Lord blessed and strengthened his people. Brethren and sisters from Leighton, Douglas, Otsego, and a large representation from Monterey, were present. Bro. H. M. Kenyon gave four stirring discourses. Bro. Sterling from Otsego took part in our meetings. In our business meeting we resolved that we would strive for a more perfect union in the absorbing work of the third angel; that we would labor to discharge all our duty in carrying out the plan of Systematic Benevolence, camp-meetings, Sabbath-schools, and memorializing the sufferings and death of our coming Lord and Saviour.
