A Very Important Book.

The Publishing Association have now in press, soon to be issued in book form, the articles on the Two Horned Beast, by Bro. Uriah Smith, which were recently published in the Review. For several reasons this may be called an important work. The facts brought to view in the prophecy of the Two Horned Beast lie at the foundation of the Third Angel’s Message—the present and final work of God for man. We have had no thorough work among us on this subject; no argument of sufficient length and clearness to be satisfactory either to the believer or inquirer. But the present work, if not exhaustive of the evidence, presents a clear argument and an array of evidence to sustain its positions which a reasonable mind will hardly resist. The friends of present truth will hail this work with pleasure, and we know that they will realize the importance of giving it a very extended circulation, not forgetting a very thorough study and understanding of it on their own hearts. Let every one try to be able to “give a reason” for his faith and hope. J. H. W.
