Magazine Printing Advances Shown by Delineator Anniversary Issue

What a stride has been made in magazine-making during the last thirty years. The December Delineator shows the high-water mark. That issue is its thirtieth-anniversary number. Its color work, and it has twoscore pages in two or more colors, is superb. To print it 728 tons of paper were used and six tons of ink. Its issue is 91,500 copies, representing over 20,000,000 sections to be gathered by hand. There are in this number 230 pages, and it took 91 presses, running 14 hours a day for a month, to print it.
