THE N. Y. Observer gives the following notice of this picture, which has been noticed in this paper:—

"From Wm. J. Boynton, of the International Tract and Missionary Free Reading-room, 371 Bowery, we have received a large and striking allegorical engraving entitled "Christ the Way of life." Christ crucified is the central figure; the shadow of the cross reaches back to the expulsion from Paradise, covering the whole history of fallen man up to the crucifixion, its light spreading over the world to the end of time. The various scenes in the history of fallen man are well represented, and the picture is an instructive volume addressed to the eye and the heart."
