The quarterly meetings at Pilot Grove and Mt. Pleasant, as appointed in REVIEW, are past, and we can but report them a failure, so far as anything especial is concerned. We know not why this was so, unless because the epizootic is raging to such an extent among the horses (and indeed some say with the people) that but few of our friends could get to meeting.
At Mt. Pleasant, we found Bro. Hare sick with fever, but slightly on the gain. Those who have been expecting Bro. Hare’s labors this winter, will understand by this why he has not been in the field. It will be some time yet, at best, before he will be able to labor. May he have the prayers of all who have faith in the Great Physician.
