Kansas.

My last report was from Bull City, Dec. 1, 1872. Held meetings in two localities about seven miles apart to better accommodate the brethren. Traveled the distance both ways each day, sometimes on foot, holding meetings at one place at 11 A. M., and at the other in the evening. By very urgent request of some not in our faith, I spoke three miles below Bull City, to a congregation of some thirty very attentive hearers. I also spoke on the north fork of Solomon River, at Bro. Dixon’s, to some forty. These are anxious to hear more.
We organized a church at Bull City of fourteen members. When others unite who design to there will be over twenty. Two embraced the truth who were previously skeptics. Six were baptized. Systematic Benevolence was organized, amounting to $119.08. I spoke thirty-five times, and held two business meetings, and several social meetings. From Dec. 1 to Dec. 25, traveled nearly two hundred miles. Spent Sabbath and first-day, Dec. 28 and 29, with the church at Big Springs. May the Lord bless these new churches. Came last evening to this place.
