Important Meetings in Illinois.

After consultation with the President of the State Conference of Illinois, we have come to the conclusion that it is best to have at least two general meetings in that State immediately after the Indiana Camp-meeting. The first of these will probably be held at Pontiac, Livingston Co. The second, near or at Martinsville, Clark Co. The State Conference will be held in connection with the first meeting. The brethren throughout the State should make a good rally to attend this meeting, and have their delegates on the ground in season. These meetings should continue at least three or four days each. We want the friends of the cause to be benefited by these meetings, and if they are, they will have to make an effort to attend them. They have not generally attended any of the camp-meetings held in other States, and we have been urged very hard to come to Illinois to help the people. We cannot help them unless they will turn out to meeting so that we can talk to them. We hope there will be a general interest to attend; we will do what we can to help forward the work.
Meantime the President of the Illinois Conference will at once give in the REVIEW the exact time of the meetings, Conference, &c., and state such particulars as are needed to give the brethren all the information they require. GEN. CONF. COM.
