RELIEF

Child of temptation, of sorrow, and sin, Distracted without and tormented within; Tossed on the billows of trouble and care; Laden with burdens too heavy to bear; Shrouded in darkness, living in fear; The verge of some ruin ever so near; Anguish unutterable filling the soul, As over thy heart waves of deep trouble roll; Hushed be thy murmuring, the Saviour will come Soon with his angels to take his child home.
