“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth.”
DIED, at Becket Center, Sept. 20, 1874, Miss Emily Phinney, aged 38 years, 1 month, and 6 days. For many years she has been a true follower of our Lord, trusting in a Saviour’s love. The last four years, she has been confined to her bed, a great sufferer, caused by being thrown from a wagon on returning from the church of which she was a member, and where she loved to go. Through all her sufferings, she felt that Christ was precious. Funeral discourse by Rev. E. Dow, from Ps. 36: 7.
