The Cause in California.

We have cheering news from Eld. Loughborough, and later from Eld. Canright, relative to the tent-meeting now being held in the city of San Francisco, Cal., and the condition of the cause at Oakland. There are almost daily valuable additions to their numbers, which have reached over seventy in San Francisco, and nearly as many in Oakland.
We have received an urgent call from the California Conference Committee, indorsed by Eld. Canright, to return, to manage the publishing department of the work in that State. The General Conference Committee will be together at our Biblical Lectures, which commence the 15th, and will do all in their power to help the cause on the Pacific Coast. They will either respond favorably to the call of the California Committee, or they will appoint suitable persons here to furnish matter, as far as possible, for the Signs of the Times, until we can return to meet them in their next camp-meeting, and remain during the winter that shall follow.
