Acknowledgment of Scripture Readers' Almanack and Musical Million
By Editor
We thankfully acknowledge the receipt, from the “Scripture Readers’ Society of Ireland,” of a copy of their Almanack for 1876. It is filled full to overflowing with pointed sayings, scripture texts for each day in the year, gems of poetry and useful and interesting information on many subjects. Capt. Kearney White is secretary of this Society, 27 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin. The Musical Million still comes to our table, the same lively, interesting, musical sheet as ever. Reubush, Kieffer & Co., publishers, Singer’s Glen, Rockingham Co., Va. Lovers of music would do well to look over the catalogue of musical works which this firm publishes. Correspondents will please have all the patience practicable in reference to their inquiries. We have 107 queries waiting for answer, to which we shall give attention as soon as possible.
