SOUTH-WESTERN IOWA.

Bro. Bartlett is having a good attendance at the tent in Plum Hollow. I came from there to Sidney last Thursday; where I found the friends still firm in the truth. I visited fourteen families. On the Sabbath, I spoke to the little flock, and started a Bible-class. When I was leaving the place, after sunset, I saw the Presbyterian minister posting up a notice that he would speak the next morning on the change of the Sabbath, so I staid to hear him. He refused to announce that I would reply, and forbade my doing so in his meeting, so I made the announcement after he dismissed. I had a full house. The minister was outside listening. About forty voted in favor of the Sabbath, and not one in favor of Sunday.
I now return to Plum Hollow, Fremont Co., Iowa, which is my post-office address.
