THE GENERAL CONFERENCE.

On the last page of this paper it will be seen that the fifteenth annual meeting of the S. D. Adventist General Conference will commence on Tuesday, September 19, 1876, at 2 o’clock P. M. The session will commence promptly on time, with an opening address from the President of the Conference on the Rise, Progress, Permanency and Wants of the Cause. All should leave their homes in season to be on the ground as early as Tuesday noon. All tents should go up Monday, or at the latest, on Tuesday forenoon, as it is exceedingly annoying to a business meeting, or to those engaged in a religious service, to hear the noise of axes and hammers from those who are putting up tents and making other preparations.
