WHAT OUR PAPERS ARE DOING.

Last February a sister sent the SIGNS to one W. R. Peterson, Jacksonville, Fla., at the same time writing him a card. Aug. 9, she received the following reply:—
“Dear Sister: I shall call you such; for I feel confident that I am one of the household of faith. You wrote me a card in February and sent me the SIGNS OF THE TIMES. I did not think then that I would ever receive the sanctified day of the Lord as my day of rest; but thanks be to God, I see and will obey. Send me the strongest works you have to prove your faith; for I want them for some of my friends. Some tracts, too, if you have them.”
The same sister sent a copy of the SIGNS to a man who is the leader of a company, numbering about fifteen or twenty, who are keeping the Sabbath in Ottawa Co., Mich. This company do not hold all points of faith in common with us; but they show a willingness to examine; for this leader just sent money to pay for the SIGNS for a year and for a bundle of tracts to circulate.
Do not forget to circulate our papers. J. S.
