TENT-MEETING AT TOMAH, WIS.

Our meetings at this place closed Sept. 11, after continuing over three weeks. Several things worked against the interest of these meetings, and the result has been nearly a failure, only two or three having decided to obey the truth, as far as we have learned.

Prejudice was strong at first, and in many cases became stronger. The weather was bad and became worse, so that we were obliged to close before we otherwise should have done. Had it been more favorable, no doubt the result would have been different. As it is, we feel that many are without excuse.
