After harvest we delivered a few more lectures at Geneva, and spent the remainder of our time in holding prayer and Sabbath meetings. Meantime we have attended some quarterly meetings. We held a quarterly meeting at Geneva with the Richland church, Sept. 22, 23. Organized a church of ten, baptizing eight. There are three keeping the Sabbath who did not enter into the organization. Others are favorable to the truth.
The opposition most of the time has been strong. No one has publicly preached against us, but there seems to be a goodly proportion here of those who make and love lies. Those who have embraced the truth love their Bibles, and are determined to seek and do God's will, let the consequences be what they may. Our prayer is that they may become shining lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
Our next field of labor will be Howard Lake, Wright Co. We shall probably begin our lectures there Oct. 19. We greatly desire the prayers of God's people, that our efforts may be blessed to the salvation of many precious souls.
