An Exemplary Case.

His property is worth $1200. For 1877 he pledges two cents weekly on each $100. This will be twenty-four cents per week. This is the general rule adopted, and he has done right.
He pledges to the T. & M. Society for 1877 a sum equal to one third of his s. b. This will be eight cents per week. Thirteen weeks in a quarter, thus making his quarterly donation to the Tract Society $1.04. Being a faithful, working, reporting member of the T. & M. Society he puts this $1.04 into his regular quarterly report, marking it, “My donation.” Good, who will follow his example?
H. A. St. John.
P. S. If he were not a member of the Tract Society, he would unite by paying $1.00.
