I closed my labors near Slash, Feb. 4. Sabbath meetings were established by effecting a union between those who embraced the truth under my labors at Slash and those near West Liberty. We shall soon be able to organize a church of from twelve to fifteen from this class.
I commenced meetings Feb. 6 at a school-house located 10 miles farther north. I am now among a class of enterprising farmers. I had to defer meetings one week on account of sickness, consequently I have given but eight lectures as yet. A revival effort is being made by the Methodists within a mile of us, yet we have fair congregations. Wm. COVERT.
