The interest here is really wonderful. Although we have the Sabbath out prominently before the people, and the weather during a portion of the past week has been extremely bad, still our congregations have increased, and last evening every seat in our large room was filled. The whole community is stirred. The truth is the common topic of conversation in public places, questions are being proposed freely, and the Bible is being read by those who have not been in the habit of looking into it, while some are so deeply convicted that they are affected to tears when conversing on the subject.
