At a meeting in Dist. No. 5, Mich., the following brethren were chosen to visit the churches the present quarter:— Wright, M. Dennis, July 28; Blendon, J. Wright, Aug. 4; Grand Rapids, J. S. Wicks, Aug. 4; Cedar Springs, J. L. Edgar, Aug. 4; Gaines, E. H. Root and A. Smith, Aug. 11; Ravenna, R. I. Foster, Aug. 11. J. S. Wicks.
Meeting of the Jackson church at the house of Bro. Palmer, in Jackson, Mich., Aug. 4. E. P. Giles.
General meeting for all Sabbath-keepers in Jefferson Co., Kansas, at Hayes’ school-house, Sabbath, Aug. 4, 1877. There will be two sermons with a short intermission between. I expect Bro. Stevens. Smith Sharp.
The quarterly meeting of the Swedish church at Village Creek, Allamakee Co., Iowa, Aug. 4 and 5. A general attendance is desired. J. Calvert, Clerk.
Meeting at my house in Chaplin, Windham Co., Conn., Aug. 4, 5. No providence preventing Bro. M. Wood will attend. It is important that all the brethren and sisters come prepared to pay up their s. s. W. E. Landon.
