Allegan Co., Oct. 15.

AFTER returning from our good camp-meeting, I held meetings at Allegan and Monterey. These meetings were of an encouraging nature. There is a disposition manifested on the part of our brethren to press to the light.
Sabbath, Oct. 13, was a good day for the brethren in Allegan Co. The house of worship at Allegan was well filled with Sabbath-keepers from different parts of the county. Bro. W. H. Littlejohn gave an eminently practical discourse from Luke 18:18. We were glad to meet Bro. L. at this meeting, and to find him ready to buckle on the armor, and engage anew in the good cause of the Master. Bro. Littlejohn is ready to labor as duty may demand and health permit.
We have cause of gratitude to God for the prospects which are before us. May the Lord enable us to humble our hearts before him, recognize his opening providence, and walk in the light as he may graciously let it shine upon us.
H. M. Kenyon.

Spencer Creek and Dimondale.

SINCE I last reported, I have been traveling with my invalid wife in Northern Michigan. We have visited many scattered brethren, and tried to encourage them in the work of the Lord.
Near Spencer Creek, Antrim Co., we held sixty meetings, which resulted in the encouragement of the few brethren there, and others embracing the truth. A small company are waiting to be baptized and organized.
Last week we were with the church in Dimondale. Some matters that were troublingthe church were satisfactorily settled, and on the Sabbath we enjoyed a good meeting, during which five united with the church.
