M. A. R.
My brother, Henry N. Morse, son of Washington and Olive Morse, died Oct. 23, of typhoid fever, at Niobrara, Nebraska, aged 32 years. Having completed a course of legal study, and gained admittance to the bar, he was just commencing his professional career, with bright prospects, when the dark pall of death put an end to all his earthly hopes. He leaves a wife and child and a large circle of mourning friends, to grieve over his great sufferings and untimely death in a strange land. He was a believer in the truths of the third angel’s message. Oh! when will the disappointments, sufferings, and tears of earth be exchanged for the glad surprise, fadeless joy, and never-waning splendor of that bright morning when the Life-giver shall “loose the prisoners”!
MRS. H. I. FARNUM.
