OUR FATHER KNOWETH.

“Your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.” Luke 12:30.
Therefore, our Heavenly Father, We will not fear to pray For the little needs and longings, That fill our every day; And when we dare not whisper A want that lieth dim, We say, “Our Father knoweth,” And leave it all to him.
For his great love has compassed Our nature, and our need We know not; but he knoweth, And he will bless indeed. Therefore, O Heavenly Father, Give what is best to me, And take the wants unanswered As offerings made to thee. —Selected.
