A YEAR'S WORK IN INDIANA.
The following is the report brought from Indiana to the General Conference:— “Our Conference, during the past year, has had its trials and its victories; but upon the whole it has been the most successful year of its history. Five new churches have been added, with a systematic benevolence of over $300. Our older churches have lost none in membership, that is, the gains have balanced the losses. About eighty have been added to our membership.” “The financial management of the Conference has been good. Our tents have been run without expense to the Conference. Have had two in the field. Seventy-five or eighty have embraced the truth during the tent season. One meeting-house has been erected and will soon be ready for dedication.”
