The fast was kept by the Elizabethtown church. We were much cheered by the presence and labors of Bro. R. P. Pickens, recently from Battle Creek.
I think we as a people have had much to encourage us the past year as the result of tract and missionary work. Although we do not see a great number of souls converted to the truth as the fruits of this labor, yet I have faith to believe that our efforts in this direction are paving the way for a great and good work yet to be accomplished in our Conference, if all remain faithful to duty.
