Rev. W. Impey Renounces Eternal Torment Doctrine

A friend has sent us a copy of The Diamond News, of Nov. 14, 1878, published at Kimberly, South Africa Diamond Fields. It contains a letter from “The Rev. W. Impey” to the Wesleyan Conference, declaring his renunciation of the doctrine of eternal torment, as contrary to revelation and dishonoring to the God of justice, love, and mercy. Thus the light of truth is making its way in the distant parts of the earth.
