TO THE S. S. ASSOCIATION OF THE PENNSYLVANIA CONFERENCE.

We are very anxious that the Sabbath-school work in our new Conference shall prove a success; and to this end we appeal to all our brethren to aid us.
We have valuable helps, which are well calculated to interest and instruct the young. The Weekly Instructor is offered on terms so reasonable that no family need be without it, yet we learn that there is not a club of this valuable paper taken in the State of Pennsylvania. Let the officers of our schools take this matter in hand, and see to it that as soon as possible we have a bundle of Instructors to distribute in our Sabbath-school.
We have a supply of S. S. Records, which will furnish schools as fast as we can obtain the addresses of their officers; and to meet this, and other necessary expenses, we recommend that the plan of regular donations be adopted in our schools. Let us “work for the school with our heart and our hand.”
