Silver Lake, Tent No. 1, Aug. 20.—Closed our meetings here last Sunday night. Have sold $5.00 worth of books. Received $7.80 in donations, which was $3.27 more than our expenses while there. Nine have voted to keep the Sabbath. They seem earnest, and take hold of the work with determination. We move from here to Sevastopol.
Sevastopol, Aug. 25.—This is a small country village of about one hundred and fifty inhabitants. Have held five meetings, with an average of one hundred and seventy-five listeners. The people are very friendly, and give good attention to the word spoken. Bro. Lane has returned to lend a helping hand.
