The Day Dawn

THERE are some who think that the world is gradually growing better and better, till, through the triumphs of the gospel, a millennium of blessing will be introduced; but this is not the teaching of the Bible. As well might we say that we could bring about the day dawn by making the night bright.
“If we lighted a thousand candles, The night would be still the night.”
