Spiritual Manifestations on the Pacific Coast
By Editor
It seems that the Pacific Coast is destined to be the place where spiritual manifestations shall most speedily attain the highest development. The Golden Gate says:— "Certain it is that California, and especially the region along the coast, is remarkably favorable for spiritual and mediumistic development. There is probably right here in San Francisco a larger proportion of mediumistic persons than in any other city in the Union, and some of these mediums are equal to the best in the world." We presume that this is so; but we regard it as anything but a compliment to California to be told that the devil can work through people here better than he can anywhere else.
