Labor in Nevada.

I HAVE recently held a course of meetings in a country school-house at Brown’s Station. These meetings closed with an addition of four to the ranks of those who propose to keep all of God’s commandments. I next visited the companies of believers at Reno, Virginia City, and Carson, and found them of good courage in the truth. At the latter place three were baptized. I am now holding meetings in the village of Empire, which will be my post-office for a few weeks to come. Though the people of Nevada have many of the characteristics of a transient mining community, yet there are some honest souls here. Pray that the Lord will bless the labor put forth to gather out such.
