Preach the Word of God

It is not necessary to read all the infidel books that are published in order to be prepared to preach the gospel. The natural and logical order of procedure is for a teacher to make himself thoroughly familiar with the subject which he is to teach, and not with something which he is not to teach. The fact is, that a great many people have heard from the pulpit objections to the Christian faith which they would never have heard but for that advertisement of them. Better stick to the word of God. The Lord said to Jonah: "Preach the preaching that I bid thee."
