Pocket Bibles.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY.

THE office of the Pacific Press has on hand a perfect gem of a pocket Bible, that instantly attracts the attention of all who see it. It is put up in the best binding, and will wear as long in the pocket as will other Bibles out of the pocket. Students of the Bible need not to be told of the importance and the benefit of having a Bible always at hand. This Bible occupies scarcely any room in the pocket. Being but 4½ inches long by 2½ wide and 5/8 thick it can be easily carried in a common-sized vest pocket, and hardly be noticed. No person who has one will part with it on any account. Many of them have been sold, and this is the unanimous verdict. Although it is so small, the type is clear and easily read. Ministers and Sabbath-school teachers especially, often need a Bible when it is most inconvenient to have even a medium-sized one at hand. Get this little gem, and you will never be without a Bible, and you will always be happy. There are two styles and prices:—
First: Levant, divinity circuit, kid lined, silk sewed, round corners, red under gold edges; price, $4.00, postage paid.
Second: Turkey morocco, limp, gilt edges, round corners; price, $2.50, postage paid.
Do you want to make your wife, or husband, your father or mother, your son or daughter, or your friend, a handsome and valuable Christmas present? This is your opportunity. Address, Pacific Press, Oakland, Cal.
THE Pope is said to be about to issue an encyclical letter condemning the Italian Government for its policy, which he says is a menace to his liberty.
