Which?

It will be seen that Elder Healey, in his article in this week’s issue takes the position that the word which, spoken by the rich young man to Christ, was in reference to the two codes, the ten commandments, and the law of commandments contained in ordinances. On reading the article we could not see it in this light. But in conversation with Brother Healey he stated that as the young Jew professed having kept all ten of the commandments from his youth he knew better than to ask the Lord which of the ten he should keep. He knew very well that he should observe all of them. Therefore as the inquiry could not refer to ten commandments, it must refer to codes. “If thou wouldst enter into life keep the commandments.” Which commandments? Then the Lord quotes a portion of the ten to show that he meant by the commandments the moral code. We will not reject new ideas simply because they are new. We receive any point of truth from evidence.
