Parsons' Hand-Book of Business and Social Forms.
By Editor
THERE is no book on the market which has made a better reputation as a seller than "Parsons' Hand-Book of Forms." While other books, treating on similar topics, are being driven from the field, the success of the "Hand-Book" was never so good as at the present time. Over SIXTY TONS of paper have been used on this book when not quite three years old. It is not surprising that agents are enthusiastic in its sale. Just coming from the printer and binder, has been enlarged to over 700 LARGE OCTAVO PAGES, and has the addition of two new departments, one on Short Hand and Type Writing, and one of choice Poetical Selections; fully and handsomely illustrated. "Parsons' Hand-Book" stands as the peer of its class, notwithstanding the higher price at which others may be sold. This is evidenced by the fact that our agents are constantly urged to take these other works in part payment for the "Hand-Book," even though they had paid for them nearly double what we ask for ours. "Hill's Manual," containing 419 pages, and "Gaskell's Compendium," containing 586 pages, sell for $6.00, $7.00, and $8.50, while "Parsons' Hand-Book," containing over 700 pages, sells as follows:—
English Cloth, Olive, sprinkled edge,................$5.00
Library Binding, marbled edge,.................... 6.00
Full Morocco, gilt edge,............................ 7.00 The illustrations in this work are very handsome, having been procured at great expense. You will please bear in mind that this is a work that sells to all classes and professions, and is needed in every family, store, workshop, and office. It is a work that sells everywhere. Its patrons will be found in city and country at almost every habitable dwelling or place of business; hence the advantage in selling a work of such general demand.
