Leaving Our Burdens With God

It becomes us to realize that God rules, just as certainly as that he exists. Is there not enough in this to quiet our anxieties, and to banish all groundless and useless forebodings? After we have faithfully and humbly done our duty, may we not then leave ourselves, our families, our friends, the country, the church—may we not leave all these with God, feeling, the while, that they are safe in his hands?
