A Happy Soul Despite Blindness

If you were poor, if you had lost your father when a child, if you had lost your eyesight when six days old, and if you had often felt the blight of bad circumstances, would you still say with Fanny Crosby?—
"O, what a happy soul am I! Altho I can not see, I am resolved that in this world, right happy will I be. How many blessings I enjoy that other people don't! To weep and sigh because I'm blind, I can not and I won't."
