Continuing in Christ’s Word

JESUS says, "If ye continue in my word then are ye my disciples indeed." These words are just as applicable to us to-day as they were to those to whom he was personally speaking. The disciple is a learner, and in order to continue to learn, we must abide under the instructions of the Teacher. Christ is the great Teacher. Unlike human instructors, he is infallible. While in the school of Christ we need have no fears of imbibing error. We shall not learn anything that we shall need to unlearn at some future time. He will teach us no false science, but whatever he teaches us will be for our eternal good.—Sel.
