Peace with God Through Faith

It is only when through faith in Jesus Christ one is justified by the great atonement (Rom. 3: 24, 25; 8: 1), and finds himself at peace with God (Rom. 5: 1), and has received the spirit of adoption (Rom. 8: 15), that the law of God ceases to be a hard master (Gal. 3: 24, 25), and the terrors of Sinai are exchanged for the glories of the gospel.—Todd.
