SEEK GOD.

By James Ashcroft Noble

FIND work, but find thy Master first, Or all thy toil may be accursed; If thou wouldst free thyself from doubt, Find God within, and work without, What shall be worthy worship will Be thine, and calm thy spirit fill. Seek him, nor think he hideth far In some slow-circling distant star. From thine own self set thyself free, And thou shalt find He seeketh thee. —James Ashcroft Noble.
