BURR VALLEY, CALIFORNIA.
By John Harvey Cook
WE closed our eight days' meeting at Burr Valley December 13. It was truly a good meeting. The Spirit of the Lord came very near. Backsliders were reclaimed, sinners were converted, and God's people were greatly encouraged. To the Lord will we give all the praise! It seems that the good Spirit is making more earnest effort than ever before to win the hearts of the people. Many have yielded. The same good work is going on at Lemoore. God is moving his people wonderfully, and many are awakening and trimming their lamps; but some sleep on. Are we not having the advanced showers of the latter rain? J. H. COOK.
