NUTBROWN.—Died of old age, at Vancouver, W. T., January 16, 1889, Sister Nutbrown, aged 78 years, 10 months, and 14 days. Sister Nutbrown began the observance of the Sabbath the fall of 1884. The following spring Brother F. D. Starr held tent-meetings at Vancouver, at which Sister Nutbrown became more fully established in the present truth. She was baptized in the fall of 1885, and united with the Vancouver church at the time of its organization, and remained a faithful and consistent member until her death. She fell asleep rejoicing in the hope of the soon-coming Saviour, in whom she trusted.
The funeral services were conducted by the writer in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Vancouver. W. C. WARD.
