DURING the past week we held meetings in the vicinity of Nortvig, west of Horsens. Six souls have covenanted to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. They were organized into a small church, and Brother Niels J. Pedersen was ordained elder. Systematic benevolence was arranged. They are rather poor, and cannot contribute much; but God blessed our willing offerings according to the means with which he had entrusted us. We felt that the Spirit of the Lord was near, and thanked God for the blessing he bestowed upon us, when celebrating the ordinance of the Lord's house. Sunday evening I held a meeting at Bjerre, south of Horsens. Here I found a few who liked to hear, and investigate God's blessed truth. The next day I conversed with them about the kingdom of God. To-day I am on my way to Alstrup.
